Tom is an award-winning actor, well known and loved in the Sydney theatre scene. He advocates for people of mixed ability to be cast in Australian theatre, TV and film productions.
In 2012 Tom wrote One Hander, a one-man show about people’s reactions throughout his life to his underdeveloped left hand. He has performed One Hander to great acclaim in London, Sydney and Edinburgh.
Tom trained at NIDA, graduating in 2002 and studied Musical Theatre at Mountview in the UK. He has performed with theatre companies such as the Sydney Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre Company, Belvoir St Theatre, Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Ensemble Theatre, Bell Shakespeare and the Hayes Theatre. He has also worked with many independent theatre companies and last year performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Siren Theatre Company’s production of the one-man show, Misterman, to critical acclaim.
His screen credits include Downton Abbey, Party Tricks, All Saints, Second Best, My Place, Deck Dogz, Love My Way and the Academy Award nominated short film, The Saviour.
He has won two Sydney Theatre Awards for his work in Misterman and Three Sisters.
